glitterbug & Ronni Shendar live at c.sides 2009…

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

We are only slowly waking up again after mega intense 4 days without sleep and filled with endless work, but it was so worth it! I will soon publish a longer post on c.sides Tel Aviv 2009, and also think that i will start posting stuff more regularly again. Here is a little mini-video of the last part of my live performance together with Ronni Shendar (the other half of c.sides, she created an amazing cinematic live performance for the Supershelter live set).

Off to Israel

Monday, January 12th, 2009

As some of you out there might know, i will leave Cologne for Tel Aviv tomorrow for the next edition of the c.sides festival. There might be fewer post around these parts due to beautiful 20 hour workdays that are awaiting me for the next four weeks- but you can follow our activities on our production blog. Wish us and everybody in the region a lot of luck- we might need it. A lot actually.

Here is a little video of the 2006 edition of c.sides, back in the days still in Jerusalem:

Ach Malka…

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

We are amidst the main production stress for the next edition of the c.sides festival, Ronni already in Israel and me still in Cologne, supposed to fly out next Tuesday, and i have to admit that I would prefer to stay with our cats considering the political situation. This is all so sad. And we, again amidst a war, are supposed to produce kind of a fun electronic music / media arts festival. Sounds familiar? Well, the last c.sides production in Israel took place amidst the 2nd Lebanon war, and, besides the losses of life and the fear and sadness it left, it took a very heavy emotional, personal and financial toll on us as well. And now again this.

Ach Pnina, ach Malka, can’t I stay home?
