Update: Glitterbug & Ronni Shendar will present their joint audio-visual live performance, thus perform together with the full out show! This wasn’t written in the flyer, because it was not clear if we could do it technically, but we found a solution. We are about to hit the road for two super exciting shows in Norway, both together with the fantastic Vinny Villbas:::
First on the list is the OsloLive Festival, in, who would have guessed, Oslo. Sadly without Ronni’s visuals, since it’s an afternoon show at 3pm on Saturday, the 17th of July. Too much light for projections…
The second show will be on Friday, 23rd of July, in Bergen at the Landmark. More info can be found here.
The c/o pop Festival is approaching, and one of the tracks from my current album, ‘Float’, was picked for this year’s compilation. By the way- we will perform on Thursday, the 24th of June, at the famous Stadtgarten venue. More info on our show in another post…

We feel very lucky and fortunate that we will have a little performance tour in Norway next month, with shows in Oslo, Bergen, and Tromsø if were are very lucky. The promoter of our Bergen show made the effort to create this little promotional video, and we are flattered… Thank you!!!

Немецкий техно-продюсер Glitterbug выпускает 17 мая на лейбле Kompakt новый альбом Privilege. На двойном CD уместились 20 композиций, общей продолжительностью 2 часа 20 минут. Также альбом выйдет в виниловом формате, включая бонусный трек.
Privilege записывался в личной студии музыканта в Кельне, а также во время тура в прошлом году: по городам Индии, Израиля, Европы, Китая. В некоторых треках появляются звуки, записанные на природе в местах путешествий.
«Privilege – альбом о том, что мечты позволяют тебе избавиться от ощущения ущербности в мире людей с разными возможностями. За последний год мне посчастливилось побывать во многих местах, благодаря чему я понял, какой я богач и как много я могу. Печально осознавать, что преобладающая часть человечества никогда даже не задумается о том, на что они могли бы быть способны», – комментирует релиз Glitterbug.
Добавим, что к CD-версии альбома прилагается специальный буклет израильского видео-художника, фотографа и партнера Glitterbug по живым выступлениям Ronni Shendar.

Amidst the possibly most stressful period prior to the release of ‘Privilege’ in four weeks, i thought to share a few updates.
I have been awfully busy with remixing, and, even more importantly, mixing endless podcasts for some of the large platforms out there. Watch out for some nice surprises… mixing the podcasts was an especially wonderful thing, since I have been mostly listening to ‘Privilege’ while finalizing the album, and to endless rehearsals for the new show that we’ll start touring with in May. So going through endless promos and fishing for exciting new music was an amazing treat after all that Glitterbug music… 
In the meanwhile, the vinyl edition of ‘Privilege’ came in:
It’s a hand numbered, strictly limited (to 500 copies) double vinyl. No. 1-360 have the beautiful CD booklet as part of the package. The vinyl edition has a bonus track that won’t be available digitally or elsewhere, and since we could not fit the whole 20 tracks / 2,5 hrs of music of the CD on vinyl, everybody that purchases the vinyl (and sends us a picture of the hand written number and of the vinyl in a beautiful surrounding of their choice) will receive a download link to the whole CD album.
We have many great shows in the queue for this summer (among them Spot Festival/ Denmark, Off Centre Festival Amsterdam, c/o pop Cologne, MIGZ Festival Moscow, and Oslo Live Festival), so make sure to check the dates section every once in a while and come visit us in one of our shows!
Wow. What a night. What an audience. What a club (the Trouw in Amsterdam). And 360 (aka Nuno dos Santos and Patrice Baeumel) are at least as fantastic. Great that the night was filmed (the pictures below are stills from the video footage). Excerpts of the video will be posted soon!
Not in our faintest dreams could we have hoped for a better night to premiere our new show.
Somebody was so kind to put more videos of that night online, that we keep in such good memory… it was our last show of the October/November 2009 performance tour, and we really ripped our hearts out that night. Audio quality is so so, but it’s amazing to have these snippets online. We had so much fun!!
Well, not the whole thing, but a few really great snippets. Note to myself: no more chewing gum on stage!!!
